Kelly Gomez is the Owner and Director of Mama Bear's Academy LLC. Kelly has worked in childcare for 7+ years. Kelly has her associate's degree in Human Services and a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Kelly is a new mom whose daughter currently attends the center. In her free time, Kelly enjoys reading, and going to comic conventions
Kaila Menard is one of our Toddler teachers. This classroom is known for musical and gross motor enrichment. Kaila has worked in childcare for 4+ years. Kaila is working on her teaching certificate and associate's degree in Early Childhood education. Kaila is a mom of 2, her youngest currently attends the center. In her free time, Kaila enjoys camping and being outdoors.
Edward Maldonado is our other Toddler teacher. Edward has worked in childcare for 5 years. Edward is currently working on his associate's degree and has 31 credits in Early Childhood Education. Edward has two cats and enjoys listening to music and kickboxing in his free time.
Audra Bevins is our Preschool teacher and Assistant Director. This classroom is known for creative immersive sensory play. She has worked in childcare for over 10 years. Audra is currently working on her associate's degree and her childcare administration certification. Audra is the proud mom of 6, her youngest currently attends the center.
Sahira Babu is one of the assistant teachers in the center. Sahira has worked in childcare for 2 years, has worked as a para-educator in the public school system. Sahira is the proud mom of 3 and doting grandmother of 1.
Joanne Butler is one of our Infant teachers. This classroom is known for singing songs, tummy time, and lots of naps. Joanne has worked in childcare for 9 years and before that enjoyed babysitting and working with children one on one. Joanne has her bachelor's degree in music education. Joanne is a classically trained opera singer, that enjoys performing in musicals. Joanne is also a mom to one.
Brianna Ward is our Mobile Infant Room teacher. This classroom is known for sensory and gross motor play, along with reading and singing songs. Brianna has worked is new to the field and has worked in childcare for 6 months. Brianna enjoys fishing and spending time with her two young daughters.
